Nowadays, quality plays a primary role in health service and hospital systems. Patients are now more critical than in the past. Prior to registering with the clinic or hospital, they are looking very closely at the health-related services offered. However, quality management is not only important for patients, but also for the Birkle-Klinik as a healthcare provider since it must provide its services and care in a systematic, organized and structured framework. Within this framework, the Birkle-Klinik aims at continuously improving and maintaining the best healthcare services possible.
The framework of our quality management is based on our own goal and the requirements of the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 of the German Society for Medical Rehabilitation (DEGEMED).
The successful development of our quality management was first attested to the Birkle-Klinik in 2009 by certification. The maintenance and further development of the system was re-certified in 2018.
